We will pose only one question to you at the end of these 5 pages...

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU WANT TO DO YOUR JOB???

This is a large "informational" site - you will not find this site the usual "sales formated", "self horn blowing" or "tip toe thru the tulips" presentation with warm & fuzzy "before" and "after" pictures - if you don't get the "before" right you will be ripping out the "after" in a few years - if you want "the truth" (not sales hype) it is on these 5 pages - ONLY "YOU" CAN DETERMINE THAT...

Image Preview       Can you afford to do this???

                                      If you can, stop reading...

                                      If not, read on...

THERE IS A MISCONCEPTION THAT SHOULD BE CLARIFIED TO FOLLOW THE FACTUAL INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS SITE - WHAT IS COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE  WATER TABLE IS NOT WATER, IT'S MUD...

The top of the saturated underground zone (mud) is called the water table - the water table level rises & falls according to the season of the year and the ammount of rain or snow melt that occurs - however, heavy rainfall or drought conditions causes changes in these usual levels...

WHY DO "BURIED PIPE" WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS FAIL???

                  "PRECIPITATED SEDIMENT"

Any system that moves dirt laden water through underground or under floor buried perforated pipe or ducts ( with holes in it) produces sediment buildup within the pipe - stone, wraps or sleeves slow down but do not stop this action - it usually takes 5/7 years (some don't take that long) then the pipe is completely plugged - once buried 8/10' underground (curtain drains or exterior footing drains)  or under the floor and covered with concrete (interior french drains or perimeter drains) you cannot access the sediment buildup - give that a moments thought - back to square one - the water return, the big mess and another even bigger bill to fix (regardless of what they may say, to make the sale, do you really believe they will come back and dig it all up again, for FREE ???)...

AND NO, you cannot snake it out or flush it out with a garden hose as they may claim...

 FRENCH DRAINS

                  FOOTING DRAINS

                                   CURTAIN DRAINS

All of those systems require burying perforated pipe under the interior floor (in mud) or outside 8' to 10' underground (in mud) - we do not bury any perforated pipe - we only use perforated pipe for exterior surface drain applications (at grade) that can be cleared of sediment buildup as needed and it will be, even at grade - see our "what we do and don't do" page that explains, in depth, all these procedures...

BURIED PERFORATED PIPE!!!

This is what you buy with ANY buried perforated pipe system...

These look to be about 3 to 4 years old...

In 5 to 7 years they will be totally plugged...

Then "you" dig it up and do the job all over again...

forward_2.gif - (1K)    forward_2.gif - (1K)   forward_2.gif - (1K) We have "NEVER" had a failure with our "CLEAN WATER"  procedure - THERE IS NOTHING TO FAIL

If "curtain drains", "interior french drains" and "exterior footing drains" are supposed to be such GREAT procedures, as those that do them profess, why do they fail and have to be RE-DONE about every 5 to 7 years - ask them and listen to them tap dance around their answer - their standard answer is "they were not properly done" (pure hogwash, it's not brain surgery) - the only thing GREAT about them is the COST FOR YOU and PROFIT FOR THEM..

We do not do the "buried perforated pipe procedures" other waterproofing companies do - it's apples and oranges - we have no failures (there is nothing to fail) and for many bucks less...

FORGET THE "SALES PITCH" - IT DOESN'T TAKE AN ENGINEERING DEGREE - USE YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE - What would happen if you buried 4" pipe with holes in it in MUD??? - AGAIN, THE WATER TABLE OF CONCERN IS NOT WATER, IT'S MUD!!!

We do various corrective procedures:

Wall cracks

   Floor cracks

       Cut aqueduct channel drains

           Exterior at grade drains

               Sump pump installations

Tanking (positive or negative pressure sides)

                      Damp-proofing walls

These procedures can be done alone or together as/if required...
